
Zeenat Rashida
Zeenat is originally from Dhanbad, India. She received a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, a M.Sc. in Biotechnology from IIT-Roorkee, and a Ph.D. from inStem, Bangalore. Her Ph.D. work focused on understanding how cells allocate nutrients to adapt to fluctuating nutrient environments. Zeenat joined the Plath Lab in 2022, where she is trying to understand the role of different metabolites in regulating iPSC reprogramming and pluripotency. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to podcasts on history and religious philosophy, and spending time with her family.
